With its impressive pace of signings and openings, Hilton is bringing more of its hotel brands to new parts of the world

From its bumper pipeline of signed pipeline properties, Hilton has selected a few choice projects that will launch through 2025, as it expands its brands around the globe.

The pace of recent months has seen additions including a Tapestry Collection hotel in Bonaire, a destination all serious divers will be familiar with. In eastern Europe, Hilton has opened its first Hampton by Hilton in Estonia, with the launch of Hampton by Hilton Tallinn.

The group’s Signia brand has taken its first step outside the USA, with the opening of Signia by Hilton Amman, in Jordan. The 272 room hotel includes seven different dining options, and even a bowling and entertainment centre. Signia is a meetings and events brand, and the new hotel does not disappoint, with a convention centre that has a capacity of up to 3,400 delegates.

Back in the group’s home US market, recent banner additions have included the opening of Caesar’s Republic Scottsdale, close to the region’s Camelback Mountain destination. And in Raleigh, Hilton has opened a Tempo branded hotel, and Homewood Suites for those seeking an ideal place for families, or for those seeking a bolt hole for a longer stay.

China remains a key market for the big brand groups to expand their global presence, and Hilton is there among its peers with a strong pipeline. Upcoming openings include a new Hilton hotel in Yuyao, due to launch in March. Sited in the central business district of the city, overlooking that Houqing river, the hotel includes three food and beverage outlets, a fitness facility with indoor pool and a rooftop garden for guests to enjoy.

Also upcoming is the Hilton Garden Inn Jinan Olympic Sports Centre. It will be the first hotel under the brand in the Greater China region to showcase the brand’s latest designs, tweaked to better suit regional tastes. Aside from its proximity to the Olympic facilities, the hotel is also a great base for exploring local attractions including Woniu Mountain Geological Park, and Huashan Provincial Geological Park.

The DoubleTree brand, meanwhile, is about to add Ethiopia to its growing portfolio, with a new hotel at Addis Ababa airport. And DoubleTree is preparing to debut in Pakistan, opening a hotel in the mountain resort town of Nathiagali. Guest rooms will make the most of the region’s stunning views, featuring full height glazing. An impressive courtyard and lawn have been designed as a venue for weddings and other major events.

In Europe, the group’s Hampton by Hilton brand will see a strong year of openings during 2025. The roster includes Hampton by Hilton Potsdam Babelsberg, Piraeus Mikrolimano, Lisbon city centre and Szczecin. Airport hotels will open at Alicante airport, and an expansion at Edinburgh airport towards the end of the year. The coming months will also see the European debut of Hilton’s Home2 Suites extended stay brand. A 290 room hotel will open in autumn 2025 in Belfast, following conversion of an office building in the city.
