Real-estate investment, development and management firm Claremont Companies has launched a new CambridgeSeven-designed Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Boston.
On the western outskirts of central Boston in the leafy town of Brookline, Hilton Worldwide’s latest offering provides easy access to the area’s prestigious medical hub, which hosts institutions like Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School.

A gleaming glass tower

The eighth Massachusetts hotel by Claremont Companies, this 174-room property occupies a ten-storey glass building designed by CambridgeSeven and built by Callahan Construction. “The opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Brookline marks an exciting milestone for Claremont Companies,” said Pat Carney, chairman and chief executive officer.
Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows open up to panoramic views of the Boston skyline while shedding natural daylight onto the brand’s signature bright and airy décor, which was inspired by the natural elements of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy adjacent to the hotel. In-room amenities include all the bells-and-whistles, such as signature bedding of white duvets and crisp linens, a work desk with an ergonomic chair, and a ‘hospitality centre’ with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffeemaker.
Elsewhere, there’s a 24-hour business centre, fitness centre and indoor pool, while those who prefer to exercise behind closed doors can access a Peloton bike for private use. A total of 1,368 sq ft of meeting space is spread across two rooms, meanwhile, and a 2,300 sq ft third-floor outdoor terrace can accommodate up to 175 people.

A faultless location

Food comes by way of Punch Bowl, where chef Amanda Lowry serves up a contemporary take on traditional New England fare, with signature cocktails inspired by Brookline’s history. Moreover, the hotel is located just minutes away from Fenway Park and a few steps from the MBTA Green Line, connecting guests to an array of drinking and dining options in downtown Boston.
Carney added: “This project is a culmination of exceptional vision and hard work from many parties. It is a true testament to our high standards as well as a unique opportunity to celebrate the revitalisation of this area of Brookline Village with the town’s first all-glass tower.”
The property, which is owned by Claremont Brookline Avenue, is being operated by Claremont Companies.
“This new property offers guests convenient and inviting accommodations, whether travelling for business or leisure,” said John Mitchell, general manager. “Our team members strive to make each guest’s stay better and brighter through heartfelt interactions and thoughtful service.”
