Hilton has bolstered its Italian portfolio with two additional openings in 2025 under its DoubleTree by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton brands.

The hotel group has signed the DoubleTree by Hilton Naples Oriente and Hampton by Hilton Rome St Peter´s, which are set to open next year.

Hilton is experiencing significant growth across Italy, with more than 2000 rooms in the pipeline before the signing of the two new hotels.

Hampton by Hilton Rome St Peter’s

Following a franchise agreement with Italyhotelmanagement Srl, the 124-room Hampton by Hilton Rome St Peter’s will be the brand’s first hotel in central Rome.

It’s due to open in March 2025 and will be situated just a short distance from Via Gregorio VII and also close to the Vatican City.

On-site amenities include a gym and two meeting rooms and will be close to the famous St Peter’s Square, a marvel of Renaissance architecture and home to works of art including Michelangelo’s Pietà.

Naples’ first Doubletree by Hilton

Following a franchise agreement with F.G.N Horn Srl, Hilton will expand its full-service property portfolio with the debut of Naples’ first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, which is set to open in the spring of 2025.

The 112-room property, centrally located in Naples, is within walking distance of key popular tourist attractions such as The Royal Palace of Naples, and the Sansevero Chapel Museum. It’s also a short drive from Castel dell’Ovo and the renowned Ruins of Pompeii. Additionally, it is only 6.5km from Naples International Airport.

The DoubleTree will contain a gym, an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop bar with city views, and a range of versatile meeting rooms.

Adding to a growing pipeline

Hampton by Hilton Rome St Peter’s and Doubletree by Hilton Naples Oriente will join the 99-strong portfolio of hotels trading and pipeline within Hilton’s portfolio in Italy, including the recently opened Anglo American Hotel Florence, Curio Collection by Hilton; Mangia’s Santa Teresa Sardinia, Curio Collection by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Milan Malpensa properties.
