This signing adds to Hilton’s India portfolio, which currently encompasses 24 operating hotels across several of the group’s brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

Commenting on the signing, Navjit Ahluwalia, senior vice president and country head of Hilton in India, said: “I am thrilled to announce the signing of Hilton Hyderabad Resort & Spa. We actively explore strategic opportunities to deploy our brands across the country and this signing reinforces our presence in the southern region of India.”

“We are pleased to partner with CKR Resorts Private Limited and bring Hilton’s world-class hospitality to our guests in Hyderabad. I am confident that when the hotel opens, it will be a preferred destination for all travellers.”

Spanning 15 acres, the new resort will now take shape in the Shamirpet area, which is close to the high-tech business hub, Genome Valley.

On opening, the property will house 115 guest rooms and 13 villas with private plunge pools along with an array of lifestyle amenities.
