Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is coming to the Lone Star State and is expected to open in 2027

Hilton, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has recently announced the signing of a branding and management agreement with Wine Country Hospitality Partners LLC to bring a new luxury resort to the Lone Star State.

A region and resort to remember

Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country is expected to open in 2027 and will introduce the brand’s elegant service to the emerging Fredericksburg destination, which is located just under two hours outside of Austin and San Antonio. Texas Hill Country is the most popular wine-tasting destination in the state and the second-most-visited wine region in the United States—so it’s safe to say, your glass will never go empty.

Managed by Hilton, the hotel will offer 60 guest rooms and suites, 37 branded multi-bedroom resort villas, and 50 branded private residences.

Design and amenities

Designed in collaboration with Studio CABAN, FAB Studio, TIPLER Group, Studio Outside, and Paul Duesing Partners, Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country promises to be visually stunning—inside and out—set against the backdrop of a gorgeous countryside landscape.
