Developed by Miral, the majestic 545-key Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island has started welcoming guests keen to discover one of the UAE’s most exciting destinations.

The new Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island resort forms part of Miral’s Yas Bay master-development within the leisure, entertainment and business hub Yas Island, where guests have immediate access to a wealth of outlets and experiences.

A hub for leisure and entertainment

The eagerly anticipated Hilton Worldwide property, developed by Miral, is set within Yas Bay’s Waterfront on the southern end of Yas Island.

“The opening of Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island is yet another successful milestone for us and a great addition to Yas Bay’s waterfront,” said HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral. “We are proud of our growing partnership with Hilton the global brand, which will see more hospitality offerings on the island soon. This is a great testament to our commitment in positioning Yas Island as a top global destination for leisure, entertainment and business.”

“In Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, we could not have wished for a better property through which to mark the return of our flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand to the UAE capital,” added Jochem-Jan Sleiffer, president of Hilton in Middle East, Africa and Turkey. “We are proud to be working with visionary owners in Miral, in forming part of the exciting growth of a multipurpose entertainment destination. Together, we are bringing a unique offering to the market with cutting-edge technological features designed to enhance guest experience and promote sustainability.”

A diverse lifestyle offering

The new hotel houses 545 guestrooms, including 59 suites, along with signature restaurants and cafes, a kids’ club, a beach club, a spa, an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. It’s also home to a conference centre and event space suitable for meetings, banquets, weddings and conferences. F&B concepts here include casual-dining venue Graphos Social Kitchen, featuring several open kitchens; the poolside Capila – Pool Bar & Grill; and OSMO – Lounge & Bar, for morning bites, afternoon tea or cocktails.

The development has been designed in line with Hilton’s commitment to halve the hospitality company’s environmental footprint across its operations globally, with efficient water, energy and waste-management systems in place.

“We are proud to open the doors to the remarkable Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island,” said Mathew Mullan, cluster general manager of Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. “Truly a jewel in the crown of Abu Dhabi’s Yas Bay, the resort encompasses everything that a modern-day guest looks for whilst also ensuring robust environmental practices in support of Hilton’s 2030 Travel with Purpose goals.”

Guests staying here can enjoy complimentary access to Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros World. The Etihad Arena and Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, are also nearby.

The new resort is just 9 km from Abu Dhabi Airport, 32 km from Downtown Abu Dhabi and one hour from Dubai. It’s the first of three new Hilton properties being developed by Miral for Yas Island; the hotel will soon be joined by DoubleTree by Hilton – Yas Island Residences and WB Abu Dhabi, the world’s first Warner Bros-branded hotel, part of Curio Collection by Hilton’s portfolio.
