Groupe SEB has been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum rating, the highest rating in existence, placing it in the Top 1% of companies assessed. The rating covers all consumer and professional brands of the Group. SEB Professional, as a part of Groupe SEB, is comprehensively encompassed within this rating with all its brands and products including WMF, Schaerer, and Curtis. The rating is based not only on sustainable practices in the field of environmental stewardship, but also in those of social responsibility and ethical business practices – from ethical standards to procurement and customer engagement.
Platinum for Groupe SEB – with an EcoVadis score of 78/100 points, Groupe SEB, which has its headquarters in Écully near Lyon in France and manufactures electrical and household appliances in over 160 countries, is more than 30 points above the average of companies assessed in its sector. This puts Groupe SEB along with its all brands in the Top 1% of companies evaluated. Groupe SEB was awarded the highest rating in existence on Group level, which means that the EcoVadis Platinum rating encompasses every segment, every brand and every product of the group, including the professional coffee brands WMF, Schaerer and Curtis.
