The hospitality company will establish its first Danish property via a collaboration with Danish chain Comwell Hotels.
This exclusive agreement will see multiple hotels open under the Dolce Hotels and Resorts by Wyndham brand within Denmark.
More significantly, this collaboration marks Wyndham’s entry into the Danish market, and it will initially include two openings in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
Peter Schelde, Group CEO of Comwell Hotels, said: “We are delighted to have found in Wyndham Hotels & Resorts a like-minded partner which shares our values and aspirations, and are looking forward to opening our first and largest newly built hotel in Copenhagen together. The demand for quality accommodation and conference and meeting space is continuing to grow in Denmark, and working with one of the largest hotel companies in the world will enable us to further cement our position in the market and attract more international guests.”
The collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will not impact Comwell Hotels’ ownership.
