Grand Mercure Amritsar Airport Road is the result of a signing with real estate firm R V Enterprises, and will open in 2026.
Key amenities
The property will feature 100 rooms, including five suites, while dining offerings will consist of two distinctive food and beverage outlets.
Key facilities include expansive 800 sq m banqueting space, a spa and fitness centre and a swimming pool. Ample parking will also be available onsite.
Amritsar commitment

Indian additions
Elsewhere in northwest India, Accor is about to open Raffles Jaipur, a 200-key property being built as a set of private residences and courtyards adjacent to a larger hotel complex that currently houses Fairmont Jaipur.
Further ahead, Novotel City Centre New Delhi will bring 125 keys to the country’s capital in Q1 2024, and the 105-room Fairmont Shimla Fagu Resort will arrive in Q3 2026 with 5,500 sq ft of banqueting and events space, entertainment spaces, an indoor pool and spa, and multiple food and beverage outlets.
