Four Seasons and Oman Tourism Development Company have together announced the forthcoming development of an exciting property in Muscat.
The luxury seaside resort and private residences will place guests and residents in an appealing location with private beach access and both mountain and sea views.
A new urban retreat
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is working in partnership with Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) to develop Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Muscat, Oman.
The urban-style resort will cater for both leisure and business travellers visiting Oman’s capital city, as well as providing an enviable lifestyle within its collection of Private Residences.
“The Middle East continues to be an integral part of Four Seasons growth strategy, as we look for opportunities to offer unmatched Four Seasons experiences in exciting and dynamic destinations such as Muscat,” said Bart Carnahan, president of global business development and portfolio management for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
“We are excited to be a part of OMRAN Group’s long-term vision for the future development of Oman’s tourism landscape, further accelerating the strategic growth of its capital city and continuing to attract luxury guests and residents from around the world with a brand new Four Seasons offering.”
An exciting redevelopment
The hotel resort and residences will be the result of a redevelopment of a former yacht club and marina. On opening, the property will comprise 200 rooms and suites, along with 100 residences and an array of exclusive amenities.
Highlights of the property will include five dining outlets, both indoor and outdoor pools with cabanas, a tennis centre, kids club, spa and fitness facilities and access to the private beach with water sports. Additional facilities are to include event space, a business centre and prayer rooms.
The resort will introduce guests to a nation that’s located on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, the ancient city of Muscat and a coastline that’s backed by the Al Hajar Mountains.
“Muscat is a destination filled with history, natural beauty, business, tourism, and so much more, and we look forward to showcasing all it has to offer through this exceptional new project with Four Seasons,” said Dr. Hashil Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of OMRAN Group.
“By bringing this iconic brand to Muscat, we continue to drive forward the Oman Vision 2040 and our National Tourism Strategy, solidifying this wonderful country as a preeminent luxury destination for locals and global travellers alike.”
