Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto Wins Two 2017 Hospitality Design Awards [Brand Report Included]
Just nine months after its grand opening, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto has won two design awards. The Hotel received the prestigious HD Awards from Hospitality Design Magazine for Best Spa and Best Upscale/Luxury Guestrooms and Suites. The new hotel was also a finalist in the Best Upscale/Luxury Public Space category.
“We are very honoured to have been awarded by Hospitality Design magazine with the best guest rooms and spa in the Upscale/Luxury hotels category,” says General Manager Alex Porteous.
Porteous continues, “Our guest rooms and suites designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates Singapore (HBA) are a world of calm tranquility, a haven for contemplation, a touch of luxury, a personal space that embodies the characteristics of a traditional Japanese house. And the Spa, also designed by HBA, is an oasis founded on the principles of a Japanese pond garden with Japanese tea house pavilions around the indoor swimming pool, allowing guests to rest and relax in a more intimate and calming atmosphere. Each detail and setting has been thought through to reference an authentic experience and to create a unique design story.”
