Four Seasons’ stalwart Lubosh Barta is taking the reins at the new Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River in Thailand.
We find out more about the appointment and this brand new property.
Lubosh Barta named as GM
Lubosh Barta has been appointed as the general manager of the new Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.
Barta has been involved with Four Seasons for over 15 years, formerly occupying positions as general manager, resort manager and F&B director at Four Seasons properties across Thailand, including destinations such as Koh Samui and Chiang Mai, as well as in Seoul, South Korea.
He began his Four Seasons career at the group’s original Bangkok property, so it is fitting that he finds himself back in the city where it all began, but this time at the helm of a brand new and exciting property.
Barta originally hails from the Czech Republic, but for a long time has called Thailand his home.
Thai luxury at the Four Seasons Chao Phraya River
Barta will head up the team at one of the most hotly anticipated openings in Thailand in a while.
The hotel will welcome the public towards the end of the year and boasts a luxurious offering spread over 3.9 hectares right beside the Chao Phraya river on Charoenkrung Road.
This property is setting about establishing a hard-hitting team of experienced hospitality executives with a view to bringing an unparalleled guest experience to the Thai capital.
Billed as an “urban sanctuary in the city’s creative district”, the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will give visitors the best of both worlds – the exotic oasis of Bangkok’s famous riverbanks, and the cosmopolitan activity and entertainment of the surrounding area.
The 299-key property has numerous private courtyards into which guests can retreat from the chaos and heat of the city, as well as an idyllic infinity pool, which overlooks the river.
