Four Points adds second Omani site to pipeline

Marriott International’s Four Points by Sheraton midscale select-service brand is lining up a second site in Oman with plans for a property in Duqm.

Four Points by Sheraton Duqm on the southern Omani coast will have 85 keys and will be managed by Valor Hospitality Partners.

Full facilities

The hotel, owned by Ezz Assas International, will feature two dining venues, an airy atrium, a gym, meeting rooms and private car parking space, as well as a timeless style coupled with comfort and genuine service to allow guests to kick back and relax.

Strategically located within Duqm’s city centre Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD), the property will be in close proximity to many up-and-coming areas, shops and restaurants when it opens in Q2 2024.

Second site

The first Omani location for the brand will be Four Points by Sheraton Muscat in the centre of the nation’s capital. A conversion property, following a renovation the hotel will feature 201 guestrooms, ballroom and conference facilities, leisure and fitness amenities and multiple bars and dining venues.

That will also be operated by Valor Hospitality Partners, therefore the Duqm site will bring the management firm’s national portfolio to over 300 keys. This also marks the firm’s seventh property in the Middle East, expanding its Middle East portfolio to more than 1,200 keys and its global portfolio to over 90 hospitality projects.

Commitment embodiment

Euan McGlashan, CEO of Valor Hospitality Partners, said: “This new property is an embodiment of our commitment to providing unparalleled experiences for global travellers and not only signifies a pivotal step in our global expansion but also underscores our mission to blend luxury with genuine cultural immersion.

“We are thrilled to continue our dedication to crafting cherished memories, fostering connections, and setting new standards in hospitality in the Middle East and beyond.”

Sustainable growth
