Flemings Hotel, Mayfair

Flemings is one of the capital’s oldest established hotels in Mayfair, dating from 1851. Offering 129 luxury guest rooms and suites, the hotel is comprised of 13 Georgian townhouses originally dating from 1731.

Following a recent multimillion-pound refurbishment, a lot of the period 18th-century detail has been reinstated and skilfully blended to work harmoniously with the hotel’s lavish new interiors.

As part of this renovation work, Havwoods supplied decking for the prestigious Penthouse Suite, where only the finest materials were used. The design brief was to provide a contemporary solution in keeping with the existing décor that was also easy to maintain.

The Vulcan Woodgrain from the Trekker collection was the ideal choice, with its UV resistance treatment and stunning contemporary grey colour – providing the perfect finishing touch to the exclusive outside area of the penthouse.
