The 2020-opened Forestis retreat in the Dolomites has announced the opening of its new adults-only Odles Lodge, which lies on the southern slope of Plose mountain in South Tyrol.

Each of the four lodges making up this new property has been designed by Armin Sader of Assaggio Architects and built using local natural materials.

A tranquil retreat

Located just a few kilometers from Forestis, Odles Lodge now provides a tranquil new retreat for couples, groups of friends, family, or solo travelers who are seeking both relaxation and adventure.

On this launch, Teresa Unterthiner, Owner of FORESTIS and Odles Lodge, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome guests to Odles Lodge and share the unparalleled beauty of the Dolomites with them. With a more remote location and higher privacy, we are excited for guests to get even closer to nature.”

Like Forestis retreat, this lodge has been built with sustainability in mind. The lodge has been designed for optimum energy efficiency and built with locally sourced materials such as local spruce and Swiss stone pine. The site is also powered using renewable energy.

Relaxation and wellness

The four separate lodges of Odles Lodge integrate amenities ranging from a fully equipped kitchen to satellite TV and WiFi. These four lodges are joined by a spa encompassing a swimming pool, steam room and sauna.

Guests staying at the new property also have access to the spa at Forestis, as well as the mountain retreat’s restaurant.

Odles Lodge invites guests to immerse themselves in this scenic location. Each lodge at the property offers panoramic views of the UNESCO world heritage Dolomites and they are all stocked with South Tyrolean food items, with a fresh mountain breakfast also delivered each morning.
