New Marriott hotel changes the game in Indonesia

The world’s largest hotel company is tapping into the laid-back vibes of island life with its first Marriott-branded property on Batam, an idyllic destination just a 40-minute express ferry ride away from Singapore.

The 216-key Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay offers guests the very best of the island, with convenient access to key attractions like the Nagoya City Center, home to one of Indonesia’s largest Buddhist temples, as well as Barelang Bridge, spanning three islands in the Riau archipelago.
