The 104-room Hyatt Place Prince George has opened its doors to visitors in west Canada, providing easy access to a wealth of local amenities for both business and leisure travellers.

This five-storey building is based in the downtown area of Prince George, the gateway to northern British Columbia. We explore the various features of Hyatt Place’s latest outpost.

Adding to a thriving area

Owned and operated by Mundi Hotel Enterprises, the hotel is a 15-minute journey from Prince George Airport and close to various attractions such as the Rolling Mix Arena, the Prince George Art Gallery, the Saturday Farmer’s Market and the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre. Further afield, visitors can find museums, golf courses, the Lhedli T’enneh Park, the CN Centre and other major amenities just a short drive away.

Interim general manager Rajat Kadiyan said: “As Prince George continues to grow and thrive economically, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the first Hyatt Place hotel to the area. With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate work and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road.”

A welcoming hub for business and leisure activities

The property offers 104 spacious rooms, each divided into areas to work, play and sleep. All of the accommodation options feature a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper, with kitchenettes also available in certain rooms.

In addition, The Market provides fresh, pre-prepared meals around the clock, while The Placery supplies speciality coffees and a range of alcoholic drinks. Guests can even choose to take advantage of modern cardio machines in the fitness centre or enjoy the heated indoor pool.

Ron Mundi, owner of Mundi Hotel Enterprises, said: “Prince George is a wonderful place, filled with friendly people, great neighbourhoods, and is a hub of northern British Columbia businesses and activities. Our hotel is central to all of them and we are confident that Hyatt Place Prince George will exceed guest expectations and provide guests with everything they need while visiting the area.”

With its head office based in Kamloops, British Columbia, Mundi Hotel Enterprises specialises in buying, renovating and developing hotels in the western Canada area.
