Fairfield by Marriott launches inaugural Vietnamese hotel

Located in one of the largest business parks in Binh Duong province, near Ho Chi Minh City, Marriott International’s new property is likely to appeal to corporate travellers in particular.
Vietnam is celebrating the arrival of the rapidly expanding Fairfield by Marriott brand to the country.
The business of travel
The newly opened Fairfield by Marriott South Binh Duong may be located in one of Binh Duong province’s largest business parks, home to a host of global manufacturers, but it also offers plenty of opportunities for guests to relax, with convenient access to the likes of Song Be Golf Resort, Dai Nam Tourist Complex and Hoi Khanh Pagoda.
Rajeev Menon, president of Asia Pacific (excluding China) for Marriott International, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the Fairfield by Marriott to Vietnam with the opening of Fairfield by Marriott South Binh Duong. The opening marks the fifth brand entry within Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio into the fast-growing country of Vietnam – a testament to our focus on bringing a diversified portfolio for different types of travellers. We look forward to expanding our portfolio further across Vietnam to offer new accommodations in attractive destinations.”
A warm welcome for guests
Fairfield by Marriott South Binh Duong promises to celebrate warm hospitality and the beauty of simplicity, with 181 rooms and public areas that facilitate both work and relaxation. The design embodies the idea of ‘modern calm’, in keeping with the wider Fairfield by Marriott brand ethos, and this can be seen through the thoughtful use of open layouts, natural light and multifunctional spaces.
“Fairfield by Marriott ensures that guests can count on The Fairfield Promise – from the hotel’s level of service to accommodations, if a guest is ever not satisfied with their stay, Fairfield will make it right,” said Diane Mayer, vice president and global brand manager for Classic Select Brands, Marriott International. “With the opening of Fairfield by Marriott South Binh Duong, we are very excited to introduce the warm hospitality of Fairfield to travellers in Vietnam.”
Facilities at the hotel include several onsite F&B options, such as all-day dining eatery ORYZAA, casual poolside venue The Pool Bar and convenience store The Market. Business travellers can make use of 120 sq m of flexible meeting and event space, while fitness fanatics can keep their energy levels up at the 24-hour gym and outdoor swimming pool.
