Ennismore has signed an agreement to open the first 25hours branded hotel and serviced residences in Asia within the capital of Indonesia.

25hours Hotel The Oddbird is set to make its debut in late 2023 in the prestigious area of Sudirman Central Business District in South Jakarta.

The 25hours experience

Through a partnership with Agung Sedayu Group, Ennismore will open 25hours Hotel The Oddbird within the architecturally striking building, District 8. The Swedish creative studio Stylt is working in collaboration with the brand team to design the hotel fitting 25hours’ quirky style.

Public areas designed for work and play will be at the heart of this hotel offering a colourful experience through storytelling and collaborations. “The Oddbird will be one of a kind in the city’s hospitality scene”, said 25hours Founder, Christoph Hoffmann.

Alexander Halim Kusuma, CEO of ASRI, commented: “We are excited to bring new experiences to Jakarta by presenting the first 25hours hotel in Asia. 25hours hotel globally is the place where you belong, the place where you can find comfort in your own skin.”

“Everybody feels welcome here at 25hours hotel Jakarta as this will be the new urban sanctuary. As we, at ASRI, are committed to build beyond property but a well-curated lifestyle destination with holistic experiences to elevate the quality of life. 25hours hotel The Oddbird Jakarta embraces diversity & originality. This will be the paradise of paradoxes.”

Cedric Gobilliard, Brand Chief Operating Officer of 25hours Hotels at Ennismore, added: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Agung Sedayu Group to not only bring 25hours Hotels to Asia for the first time, but to open the first serviced residences – bringing our globally loved brand to long stay residents.”

“25hours’ ‘You know one, you know none’ ethos will undoubtedly make it one of the most sought-after destinations for lifestyle, hospitality, culinary and mixology experiences for locals and travellers alike in Jakarta.”

A social scene

On opening, the property will host guests in 345 guest rooms and serviced residences looking for both short and long stays.

This accommodation will be joined by several eating and drinking social venues including COPA restaurant serving South American cuisine, the Monkey Bar bringing European bar culture to the rooftop, a healthy pool bar and lively lobby lounge and bar.

Other spaces within the property will include a ballroom, themed meeting and event spaces including a karaoke lounge, and wellness facilities including an outdoor swimming pool.

During their stay, all guests are offered complimentary drive time to explore the city through a partnership with Mini. Unique to this 25hours property, a stay also comes with access to the other facilities of the mixed-use development it’s a part of, as well as having direct access to Ashta mall.

An ideal base for exploration of the city, the hotel is a short distance from landmarks like the Treasury Tower, along with areas known for their nightlife and culinary scene. The hotel is 28km from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and just a 15-minute walk from Senayan MRT station.
