Following its Milan preview, the Cameli family’s brand unveils the new indoor interpretation of Elton: a dynamic seating system that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, redefining comfort as an adaptive experience.

The boundaries of contemporary living are becoming increasingly fluid. Indoors and outdoors are no longer separate worlds, but part of a single domestic landscape, shaped by the same attention to comfort, material quality and freedom of design. It is from this evolution that the new indoor interpretation of Elton emerges. Designed by Palomba Serafini for Talenti, the collection was previewed during Milan Design Week and now takes centre stage within the Talenti Home offering.

The sofa is no longer a static piece of furniture, but a soft architecture that evolves with the people who live with it.

At the heart of the project lies an evolved approach to modularity, conceived not simply as the ability to combine different elements, but as a tool for creating a personal, ever-changing, tailor-made space. Elton unfolds as a constellation of modules that can be combined in multiple configurations, adapting to the dimensions of the room, different functions and different moments of the day.

Design complexity is thus transformed into compositional freedom.

In its indoor version, Elton’s focus on flexibility is matched by an almost sartorial approach to construction. Stitching, upholstery and detailing are carefully developed to ensure that every module retains its precision and elegance in every configuration and throughout every movement. It is an approach that brings furniture design closer to the world of fashion, where materials and construction must move with the body without losing their shape, character or identity. This dialogue with fashion has become an integral part of Elton’s development, inspiring new technical and construction solutions.

The new indoor version of Elton is part of a broader exploration into the gradual dissolution of the traditional distinction between indoor and outdoor furniture. Elton is, in fact, a project designed to inhabit both worlds, retaining the same recognisable lines and design identity while expressing them through different materials, finishes and construction solutions. While adjustable backrests and armrests are already part of an established culture of comfort in interior design, bringing the same freedom of movement outdoors represented a significant innovation.
