Elegant Tapestry Collection hotel opens in Sacramento

A new 105-room boutique hotel, owned by restaurateurs Randy and Stacy Paragary and operating under the Tapestry Collection flag, has launched in California’s capital.
Tapestry Collection’s latest outpost, Fort Sutter Hotel Sacramento, has opened its doors at 1308 28th Street.
A new lifestyle hub for art lovers
Aimbridge Hospitality’s lifestyle division Evolution Hospitality has managed the opening, and is now running, Fort Sutter Hotel. This 105-key property offers a casual-modern feel that blends perfectly with the buzzing energy of its surroundings.
Art-aficionados staying at Fort Sutter Hotel will doubtless appreciate its location within the Sutter District, an area known for its parks, restaurants and galleries, including the popular Sofia Centre for the Arts.
“Our team is excited to be part of this distinctive boutique hotel project and its debut in Sacramento’s vibrant midtown neighbourhood,” said Will Loughran, chief operating officer of Evolution Hospitality. “The Fort Sutter Hotel, owned by local restaurateurs Randy and Stacy Paragary, will benefit from our extensive experience in the lifestyle space while backed by Aimbridge Hospitality’s expansive scale. We look forward to a successful partnership.”
Relaxing in midtown Sacramento
Guests who want to kick back and relax during their stay have plenty of options to choose from. The outdoor lounge with its firepit is a fun gathering spot in the evenings, for example, while the curated art gallery invites visitors to browse the latest works by talented locals.
For a bite to eat, Cafe Bernardo serves up American classics, while the Four Palms lobby bar offers signature cocktails and other drinks. A versatile 1,800 sq ft indoor and outdoor meeting space completes the hotel’s amenities.
