Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, and Grand Land Inc., a subsidiary of the Gaisano Grand Group of Companies, have recently broken ground on ASAI Cebu Oslob. This marks the brand’s first beach resort and entry into the Philippines.
Resort design and features
Located in Barangay Lagunde, Oslob—a coastal destination known for its gorgeous beaches, whale shark encounters, and varied biodiversity—ASAI Cebu Oslob is slated to open in late 2026. Here are some of the resort’s unique design elements and spaces.
- Guest Rooms: The resort will feature 98 compact yet functional rooms, most of which feature a private balcony with stunning ocean or pool views.
- Pool and Beach Bar: The expansive pool area, which overlooks the beach, will be designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. It will be hard to tell: are you lounging by the beach or floating in the pool? At the beach bar, guests can enjoy craft cocktails, local brews, and stunning views.
- Fine Dining: The resort will feature a locally inspired dining experience where guests can enjoy the finest local flavors of Cebuano cuisine.
- Communal Spaces: Designed with a blend of modern aesthetics and local touches—including artistic elements that celebrate Oslob’s marine heritage—the communal spaces feature an open and flexible layout where guests can socialize, dine, and connect. Additionally, part of the communal space will be a dedicated coworking area for the guests who need to work remotely while away.
