Dunton takes ownership of Lumière Hotel with Inspirato in Telluride

The hospitality company Dunton has announced its acquisition of the renowned Lumière Hotel with Inspirato property in Mountain Village at Telluride Ski Resort.

With the acquisition of this property, the hospitality company now owns four hotels in Colorado as it joins Dunton Hot Springs, Dunton River Camp and Dunton Town House in the portfolio.

New ownership

With Dunton as the owner of Lumière Hotel with Inspirato, the management of this hotel will be undertaken by the managing partners of Dunton Management Company, Christina and Edoardo Rossi, who oversee the operations of the overall hotel collection.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lumière Hotel with Inspirato to the Dunton family,” said Edoardo Rossi, Executive Vice President of Dunton.

“As Telluride’s peak ski season continues to unfold, we are excited to welcome new and loyal guests to the property and introduce them to the Dunton brand. Though no major changes are planned in the short-term, we look forward to creating a cohesive and enriching hospitality experience that is synonymous with Dunton.”

A home away from home

Designed to provide a home away from home, the ski-in, ski-out hotel houses 18 one- to five-bedroom boutique residences and penthouses, alongside an array of five-star amenities.

Amenities at the property include Ania’s Table Restaurant, warm and cold pools, a hot tub and sauna, with services then including concierge and in-residence massage.

This property is located at the base of the Lower Boomerang ski run and by lift four in Mountain Village. The hotel provides a ski valet and equipment rental meeting the demand of this ski-in, ski-out location.
