Dubai welcomes new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel

DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences, a project of AW Rostamani Group, has opened to the public.

DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences, a project of AW Rostamani Group, has opened to the public – with all eyes on its striking mural of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The ultra-modern hotel combines contemporary design with dramatic artwork. We take a closer look.

Making its debut on UAE National Day

The ribbon-cutting for DoubleTree by Hilton M Square Hotel & Residences took place on the UAE’s 49th National Day. Now this property has started accepting business and leisure guests looking for a unique experience within Dubai’s historic district.

The opening ceremony was attended by Jochem-Jan Sleiffer, president for Hilton in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, along with William Costley, senior vice president of operations for Hilton on the Arabian Peninsula and in Turkey, and both Khalid Al Rostamani and Dr Amina Rostmani, owners of AW Rostamani Group.

“We are delighted to have opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences on UAE National Day, paying homage to the great leadership of the UAE and to Dubai, one of the world’s leading tourism and business destinations,” said Sleiffer.

“This property will no doubt be a landmark in the heart of the city, bridging history with modernity and providing travellers with a memorable DoubleTree by Hilton experience. We thank AW Rostamani Group for their invaluable partnership and the hotel’s team members for their extraordinary work bringing the warm DoubleTree by Hilton spirit to life in this remarkable new property.”

“Congratulations to our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences who have worked tirelessly to ensure guests receive a warm welcome,” added Serpil Guney, general manager. “We look forward to offering guests privacy and the comfort of home through our spacious rooms and suites and top-of-the-line facilities, as well as the unique opportunity to experience this city’s past, present and future through our central location and spectacular views of the Dubai skyline.”

A new way to experience Dubai

The 23-storey hotel boasts 327 rooms and suites, alongside 131 serviced residences for short and extended stays as well as serviced-living requests.

The property’s standout feature is a spectacular mural commissioned by London-based Giles Miller Studio, which pays tribute to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Comprising more than 29,000 reflective discs and spanning 15 metres, this head-turning artwork required three weeks of assembly to fit all of the discs to a specially engineered backing structure.

In addition, the hotel houses three distinctive dining venues: Larte Italian restaurant; The Spice Tea, which focuses on Indian urban fusion cuisine; and the SunGlo Rooftop Lounge, offering 360-degree views across the city. There are also six meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, an executive lounge, three outdoor swimming pools including a children’s pool, a fitness centre and spa treatment rooms.

The property is located next to Burjuman Shopping Mall, which also has a metro station. This position gives it impressive views over Dubai’s ‘Big Five’: Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, The Museum of the Future, Dubai Eye and Burj Al Arab.

DoubleTree by Hilton hotels are distinctively designed to provide genuine comfort for today’s business and leisure travellers.
