Emaar’s soon-to-be-launched Address Fountain Views
Before 2019 runs out, Emaar plans to open two Address hotels, two Vida hotels, and one Rove hotel, bringing a total of 1,370 new rooms to Dubai.
The hospitality division of Dubai’s Emaar Properties group has announced new plans to open five hotels in the emirate by the end of this year.
When all said is done, these projects will add 1,373 new rooms to the popular desert city, with 794 of those ranking as upscale units.
Vida The Hills
New Address Properties in Downtown Dubai
Much of this growth, of course, is centred on Downtown Dubai.
Address Fountain Views is a three-tower project in Downtown Dubai, one that will feature 193 hotel rooms and suites.
Amenities will include The Spa at Address Fountain Views, meeting rooms and The Restaurant, a luxury apartment which offers bespoke culinary dining.
Also in Downtown Dubai, the Address Sky View consists of two towers linked by a Sky Bridge. It includes 169 rooms, all of which look out at the Burj Khalifa.
The amenities for that property include The Spa at Level 54, as well as The Restaurant, an attractive all-day lifestyle destination, a ballroom and meeting rooms.
Emaar’s Vida hotels
The 275-room Vida Harbour Point will be in Dubai Creek Harbour and will feature a fitness center, two themed restaurants and five meeting rooms.
Set in the Emirates Hills community, the Vida The Hills includes 157 rooms and suites, as well as a themed restaurant, a pool, a gym, and 10 meeting rooms.
Finally, the Rove at the Park is right next to Dubai Parks and Resorts, a popular theme park. It features 579 rooms, many of which are interconnected, making it ideal for families.
Chris Newman, COO of Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “The new hotels strengthen our role as the official hospitality and hotel partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, with the city gearing up to welcome over 25 million visitors during the six-month period of the much-anticipated event.
“We are committed to supporting the Dubai Tourism Strategy to welcome 25 million annual visitors by 2025 through our robust portfolio of upcoming hotel projects and will also focus on expanding our geographic footprint through new hotel management agreements,” he added.
