Dream and Unscripted to anchor landmark Oklahoma City development

Designed by Cube 3, the 220-room Dream hotel and 174-key Unscripted property will form the centrepiece of a major mixed-use scheme in Oklahoma’s state capital.
Exciting proposals to grow Oklahoma City’s hotel inventory have been announced.
A pair of new lifestyle hotels
Dream Hotel Group has unveiled plans to open two new lifestyle hotels – one apiece for its Dream and Unscripted brands – in downtown Oklahoma City in 2024. Key components of a huge mixed-use development project with Matteson Capital, they’ll be designed by Miami-based Cube 3 and built by general contractor Hensel Phelps.
Situated on the corner of Oklahoma Avenue and East Reno Street, the 14-storey Dream Hotel Oklahoma City will incorporate 220 guestrooms and suites; five dining and nightlife venues; a rooftop pool deck, bar and grill; health and wellness facilities; and 11,000 sq ft of meeting and event space. Its neighbour, the 14-storey Unscripted hotel, will feature 174 guestrooms and two signature F&B establishments, not least a lower-level rooftop bar.
Dream Hotel Group’s expansion continues
New York-based Dream Hotel Group, founded by Sant Singh Chatwal in 1986, has a rapidly growing portfolio of properties under the Dream, Time, Unscripted, The Chatwal and By Dream Hotel Group brands.
“We found a great partner in Scot Matteson,” said Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein. “Oklahoma City is an incredible destination to launch our brands and we’re fortunate to collaborate with visionary developers like the team at Matteson Capital who share our ambitions to grow and develop our brands in Oklahoma City and other established and emerging markets across the country.”
Scot Matteson, CEO of Matteson Capital, added: “We are very excited to announce this strategic partnership with Dream Hotel Group. Dream and Unscripted are the centrepiece of this landmark development and the ideal catalyst to help transform Oklahoma City and infuse new energy into an already exciting area of Bricktown.”
