DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm will open as the fourth conversion for the brand in Germany and Austria over a period of just two years.

This DoubleTree by Hilton in Berlin is the result of a franchise agreement with asset manager Blackstone and Event Hotels. The property benefits from a multi-million euro remodelling.

Brand entry to Berlin

The 420-key DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm is opening next month as the sixth Hilton hotel in the city and the first hotel in Berlin for the brand. The hotel has a prime location in Berlin City West, making it a short distance from attractions like Berlin Zoo.

Simon Vincent, executive vice president and president, EMEA, Hilton, said: “With more than 55 properties either trading or in the pipeline, Germany continues to be a key strategic growth market for Hilton, and we are delighted to be expanding our portfolio in the capital alongside our long-term partners, Blackstone.”

“The fourth DoubleTree by Hilton conversion in Germany and Austria in just two years, this signing further highlights the brand’s growing appeal to hotel owners and investors looking for conversion opportunities in these markets. This latest addition will see us capture even more of Berlin’s booming business and leisure travel, thanks to DoubleTree by Hilton’s formidable upscale offering and superior meetings and events spaces.”

Business and leisure

The hotel’s 420 modern and comfortable rooms come with a fresh colour palette and thoughtful amenities that are designed to appeal to both business and leisure travellers.

This accommodation features alongside an all-day dining restaurant and bar, fitness facilities and 11 function rooms altogether spanning 800 sq m in total. Guests have access to secure underground parking and benefit from signature touches like DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies on checking in.

The hotel is a part of the Kurfürstendamm (“Ku’damm”) neighbourhood known for its abundance of restaurants and fashion stores. From the nearby train station, guests can easily reach sites like Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island.
