A contemporary scheme suitable for short- and long-stay travellers has opened in the UAE within easy reach of Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The launch of DoubleTree by Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island Residences boosts the brand’s footprint in the Middle East.
A first for Doubletree by Hilton
Developed by Miral, this new 156-key property consists of a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Each one comes with an impressive range of facilities, including roomy bathrooms, separate wardrobe areas, washer / dryers and fully equipped kitchens.
The property, created in partnership with Hilton Worldwide, is the inaugural Doubletree by Hilton-branded hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Gurjit Singh, chief portfolio officer at Miral, said: “The official debut of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand on Yas Island is yet another milestone in our journey of expanding our world-class hospitality portfolio. This latest addition is a testament to a longstanding strategic partnership with Hilton, which aims to diversify the guest experience on Yas Island, reinforcing its position as a global destination for entertainment, leisure and business.”
Impressive amenities at DoubleTree’s new Yas Island property
Onsite leisure amenities at the property include a 25-metre pool, ideal for a lazy day of relaxation or refreshing morning swim, and a 24/7 gym. With regards to F&B, there’s the Taste & Time all-day deli and the Float Pool Bar, or guests can check out the five dining experiences at The WB Abu Dhabi, the world’s first Warner Bros-branded hotel, which is located just 250 m away.
The meeting and events spaces are another highlight as they boast the latest audiovisual equipment. Moreover, the property’s largest function space can accommodate up to 280 guests.
Among the nearby attractions are Yas Marina Circuit, known to Formula 1 fans the world over as the home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and the Etihad Arena entertainment venue. It’s also close to Abu Dhabi International Airport, downtown Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Matthew Mullan, cluster general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island Residences, said: “We are absolutely delighted to bring DoubleTree by Hilton hospitality to the heart of Yas Island.
“Guests will be welcomed with our signature, warm DoubleTree chocolate-chip cookie, exemplary facilities and our caring service from check-in to check-out. We look forward to serving the communities around us and creating a distinctive sanctuary where our guests can experience the best of the capital for both long and short-term stays.”
