Dominican Republic opening marks 500th property for Homewood Suites by Hilton [Construction Report]

Hilton moves forward with its rapid growth strategy for Homewood Suites by opening the brand’s 500th property worldwide.

Homewood Suites by Hilton, which is part of Hilton’s All Suites portfolio, has announced that it will soon open its 500th property.

Located in the Dominican Republic, this new hotel will also be the company’s first in the Caribbean. Dubbed, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo, the hotel is designed for guests who are both travelling for business and enjoying a vacation getaway.

The new hotel features 145 suites for guests.

A milestone opening

This milestone 500th opening is part of a rapid-growth strategy to maintain the brand’s lead in the extended-stay market.

Homewood Suites’ growth is showing no signs of slowing down, currently boasting a robust pipeline of more than 100 hotels totalling more than 12,000 suites across the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Homewood Suites by Hilton, Santo Domingo is owned by Inversiones Robledo SAS and managed by Hilton.

Guests are welcomed with a beautiful view of the city from the sky lobby on the 12th floor. The hotel’s contemporary design offers a combination of studio and one-bedroom accommodations, featuring fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas.

Guests are also provided all the essentials needed for a smart, reliable and convenient stay, including a complimentary breakfast every day, evening socials on two days a week, Wi-Fi and a grocery shopping service.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo makes it easy for travellers to unwind with a fitness centre and a rooftop bar and pool area. The property also offers flexible meeting or event spaces which can accommodate up to 15 guests.
