Motorization of its drapery track systems is an important focal area at Forest. The Forest motorized systems available today are designed for more convenience, but also to make the drapery track systems suitable for use in the most popular hotel automation systems. As for motorized window decorations, energy management are the main issues, also in projects. In hotels for example, the curtains close automatically when you remove your keycard, saving energy. With new technology opportunities, such as voice control, it’s time to upgrade the level of convenience and personalization.
At Heimtextil visitors can discover how they can take their guests on a journey into the future, making their hotel stay even easier and more comfortable by improving their in-room technology. They can experience how the smart curtain track systems work together with other smart devices in the hotel room to enhance the experience. By saying a “Goodnight” command they are able to control the curtains, bed and lighting anywhere in the room.
Forest Group recognizes the potential of domotics and emphatically includes new technologies in its own innovation and R&D programs.
Heimtextil, the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, will be held in Frankfurt from 7-10 January 2020. Find out more about the Smart Hotel Room in hall 8 at stand E46.
