Deutsche Hospitality beefs up World Cup accommodation

Deutsche Hospitality is to complement the recently-opened Steigenberger Hotel Doha with a further 278 uniquely furnished apartments.

The firm signed a management agreement for Steigenberger Residences Doha, Qatar, with the site offering the warm comforts of a home and a space that allows guests to revel and relax.

World Cup opening

The residences are planned to open in Q3 2022 – just in time for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, starting on 21 November.

Siegfried Nierhaus, vice president Middle East, Deutsche Hospitality, commented: “The Steigenberger Residences are the perfect supplement to our existing luxury Steigenberger Hotel Doha. Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulrahman bin Saoud Al Thani, the owner of the Steigenberger Hotel and Residences Doha, Qatar, added: “Following the successful opening of the iconic Steigenberger Hotel Doha. The unique German hospitality, Steigenberger Hotel and Steigenberger Residences will compete with the world-class luxury hotels across the globe. Modern elements

Ranging from one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, the Residences feature modern design elements and aesthetic touches such as gleaming marble floors that create an opulent contemporary atmosphere. Guest facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, gym, yoga room, the GOCO Spa, and the culinary offer of five restaurants and bars, as well as a separate lobby and reception area.

The Residences will be connected to the retail facility of the master development. Due to their location – a convenient 10-minute drive to Hamad International Airport and within walking distance from the business park – the serviced apartments can cater for both business and leisure travellers.

Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts has another 21 projects in its pipeline according to the TOPHOTELPROJECTS database.
