Design showcase: Top five private swimming pools

by | 01 Sep 2021 | Design

Our latest TOPHOTELDESIGN feature takes us on a whistle-stop tour of five luxury hotels that are really making a splash with their eye-popping private swimming pools.

This week, we dive into a spectacular selection of five private swimming pools.

Pooling the talents of world-class designers

Usually considered a luxury feature, guests can lounge much more comfortably by the pool and still stand just feet away from their room’s shower and bed.

These were carefully chosen for their unique integration with the landscape and / or design of the hotel itself.

From a surreal pool fused into colossal rocks and a floating ‘bird’s nest pool’ among the canopy of Thailand’s fairyland jungle to clean and minimalistic suites, these will amuse guests for sure.

Please note, our data may differ from records held by other organisations. Generally, the database focuses on four- and five-star schemes of significant scale; tracks projects in either the vision, pre-planning, planning, under-construction, pre-opening or newly opened phase; and covers newbuilds, extensions, refurbishments and conversions.
