“Shimmering neon lights…And at the fall of night…This city’s made of lights.” To quote Kraftwerk, the legendary electronic music group, cities are made of lights.

Back to the future

Once upon a time, it was a sign of the future ahead, now it takes us back to vintage bars and retro arcades. Neon signs have always been present in metropolitan cities, where travellers step into colourfully illuminated iconic city squares.

Hotel designers can use this resource to their advantage to convey an upbeat, modern feel.

From a mesmerising kaleidoscope of red-and-white neon signs and geometric shapes to 3D sculptural pieces made of different neon phrases, these interiors light up guests and guide them into the city spirit.
