We look at the fresh designs of the Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Al Naseem and the new Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Aziziyah in the Makkah mountains.

Two new Radisson hotels have come to the Holy City of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. The two Park Inn properties will bring bursts of colour to the city and its surrounding hills, and will act as a perfect base for visitors wishing to explore the area a little further. We find out more about these new Radisson hotels.

Radisson comes to the Holy City of Mecca

Radisson Hotel Group has opened two new properties in the devout city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Known for attracting hordes of pilgrims who wish to worship at Islam’s holiest site, Mecca is not only a place of religious importance, but also one of natural beauty and historical significance.

Visitors will no doubt come to participate in the pilgrimage to Mecca, but also to explore the city itself, as well as the surrounding hills and mountains, so these two new Park Inn hotels are uniquely positioned to allow guests to experience Mecca’s many highlights. Visitors can head to the Grand Mosque, the Al Rajhi Mosque in Al Naseem, the Jabal Al Nour (Mountain of Light) and the many bazaars and markets that are conveniently located close to both hotels.

Colourful design at Mecca’s Park Inn hotels

The Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Aziziyah is a 355-key tower located in Mecca’s Aziziyah shopping and retail district. The building is an ornate offering that blends an Art Deco silhouette with traditional Arabic motifs and patterns, and inside, the interior design blends vernacular stylings with contemporary furnishings and flourishes.

Bold coloured couches and chairs are dotted around the reception and lobby area, greeting visitors with brilliant vibracy as soon as they enter the property. The guest rooms are a more muted affair, executed in neutral grey tones, but with pops of colour in the LED strip lighting that surrounds the headboard in greens or blues.

The Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Al Naseem is situated in the heart of downtown Mecca, and this city centre property is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Conference and meeting facilities attract those who are in town on business, but guests who are in Mecca for pleasure will also find plenty of attractions to interest and entice them, both in the hotel and outside.

As far as the design of this property goes, it boasts a lavish and opulent interior in the foyer and lobby. Marble pillars are lined with gold inset panels, and extravagant chandeliers hang into this generous space. The guest rooms are cosy and comfortable, and are geared towards relaxation in their design. The rooms are executed in a similar fashion to the Aziziyah property, and are adorned with contemporary artworks to give them a modern feel.
