The Mount Kelvin guest room management system is setting a new standard for the hospitality tech that builds up the guest experience.

It’s no news that simple and smart technology is the new foundation for hotel projects that are designed to last. Damian Jasná Hotel Resort & Residences is paving the way in its five-star destination, which was recently also featured as the Project of the Week in TOPHOTELNEWS.

Damian’s outstanding location and fresh concept that mixes hotel rooms, studios, apartments and penthouses make it a perfect solution for both adrenaline lovers and hedonists alike. The Italian designer interior, the highly personalised services and the latest technologies offer a glimpse into what the hospitality industry will look like in the coming years.

Mount Kelvin enables the building to be equipped with intelligent lighting that is controlled through wireless and battery-free switches and a web app. The guests and tenants will be able to choose between four different pre-made lighting scenes to match their needs, whether it’s attending a remote work meeting or relaxing after a day on the slopes. Brendon Neuwerth from Mount Kelvin explains the solution:

“Our product works with Mesh technology, meaning it extends from one device to another while making the installation process ridiculously simple. It’s also probably the only GRMS on the market that offers a developer-friendly API for further expansion in the coming years and even decades.”

The hotel resort and residences will be open for business in the first months of 2021. The ski-in/ski-out resort will then welcome adventurers from all around the world to experience the beauty of the Tatras. Andrej Kollár from Damian Jasná is looking forward to seeing the end result:

“We made deep and thorough research around the world to find the best GRMS supplier. We consider Mount Kelvin the most sophisticated solution for hotels on the market right now and working with them has given us a headstart compared to the traditional, big and rigid players in this space. We’ve put tremendous amounts of effort into the most elaborate details, and the lighting really finishes the package.”
