A return to Montigo
Dalip Singh has been announced as the Chief Executive Officer of Montigo Resorts, where he will be spearheading the brand’s strategic growth.
Mr Singh brings his extensive experience in global hospitality to lead the brand’s ambitious global expansion strategy and oversee new hotels.
This includes Ellen Kensington and Montigo Resorts, Somerset at Charlton House, as well as flagship properties in Indonesia.
Mr Singh’s first major project as CEO will be overseeing the launch of 105-key Ellen Kensington, which is managed and operated by Montigo Resorts and is KOP’s first urban hotel. Singh will also oversee Montigo Resorts, Somerset at Charlton House, a Grade II-listed, 28-bedroom English country house and thermal spa that opened in 2023 in the heart of Somerset.
Expansion ahead
Dalip Singh was one of the founding members of Montigo Resorts. He was an integral part of KOP Limited for five years from 2011 – 2016, making this appointment a homecoming. To the role of CEO Singh brings over 25 years of experience in luxury hotel management. His career highlights include leadership roles with prestigious brands like Pan Pacific, The Ritz-Carlton, Dusit International, Shangri-la and Hyatt. Singh’s expertise in driving revenue growth, enhancing guest satisfaction, and achieving operational excellence has earned him numerous industry accolades.
With Singh at the helm of its hospitality arm, KOP aims to expand Montigo Resorts’ footprint to other markets within the next 10 years, building a Montigo Community worldwide, where like-minded individuals can network, mentor, and celebrate diversity and values. The community will be able to gather at Montigo Resort properties and look forward to invitations to events and festivals, in addition to receiving exclusive perks and benefits for stays and experiences in the resorts.
