It’s the 5th year of our boutique networking events! And 2020 is set to get off to a flying start with the first TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR event of the year, and the decade, returning to London on February 6. This time around, the event will be held at one of the city’s most luxurious hotels, the Conrad St. James in Westminster. We take a look inside the event to see what’s in store for delegates.

Return to London

2019 was a big year for TOPHOTELPROJECTS and their now-famous series of boutique networking events for the hospitality sector. Hotel industry professionals from all corners of the globe gathered in an array of diverse regions over the past 12 months to network, learn and engage.

This set the scene for an even bigger and better schedule this year, and indeed this decade, as 2020 kicks off on February 6 with the inaugural event taking place in London’s Conrad St. James hotel in Westminster.

Speakers and schedule

The USP of the event are the intimate networking opportunities in a relaxed setting, with the eight “Change-Table” sessions peppered throughout the morning and afternoon, designed to allow every delegate to meet every other attendee.

There will be four keynote presentations around the topics of networking, trends in the economy, and hotel innovation.

TOPHOTELPROJECTS Founder & CEO Rolf W. Schmidt will address the audience on the status of the European market in terms of hotel development, the continent’s pipeline and who the biggest players in the industry are at the moment. As well as a general outlook for the hotel market in Europe, Schmidt will give tips which hot hotel brands are worth keeping an eye on.

Creative Spark

In London, three amazing creations will compete for the Creative Spark prize. Creative Spark is a competition between three architects/interior designers where delegates act as judges.

Candidates present their projects and further discuss their work as part of a panel discussion. It’s the perfect opportunity for delegates to catch up on the latest hotel projects and hospitality design trends in general.

In the breaks between Creative Spark presentations, there will also be “Supplier Showcase” in the foyer, where delegates can have a look at some of the suppliers featured on the TOPHOTELSUPPLIERS database.
