Hilton Worldwide is partnering with Grupo Dinsta, GVA Arquitectos and Amass & G to deliver a one-of-a-kind Curio Collection-branded hotel on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.

This stylish property will add to Curio Collection’s global portfolio of more than 90 upscale hotels and resorts. Hilton Worldwide currently has more than 160 properties in the Caribbean and Latin America, of which more than 70 are in Mexico, with plans for robust growth over the next few years.

A prime location on Riviera Maya

Hilton has signed its latest Curio Collection hotel in Mexico, EOS Tulum, with the property’s owner Grupo Dintsa. This resort, which is lined up for an early 2023 debut, will provide a stylish new place to stay in the high-end, eco-chic destination Tulum. Positioned overlooking the Tulum ruins, it’ll enjoy easy access to the white-sand shores of the Yucatan Peninsula.

“We are delighted to partner with Grupo Dintsa on this remarkable project in the highly sought-after resort destination of Tulum,” said Mario Carbone, managing director of development in Mexico and Central America for Hilton. “With more travellers looking to plan their next vacation, the addition of EOS Tulum marks another key development milestone as we continue to expand Hilton’s portfolio of world-class brands throughout the region.”

“We look forward to welcoming guests to EOS Tulum with the warm hospitality Mexico is known for and offering new and unique local experiences in a location filled with rich history and natural beauty,” added Jenna Hackett, global brand head for Curio Collection by Hilton. “It is an exciting time of growth for Curio Collection, particularly in the Caribbean and Latin America, as we look to open more handpicked, one-of-a-kind properties, including the most recent additions to the Collection in Monterrey, Mexico and Cartagena, Colombia.”

EOS Tulum lies within easy reach of Tulum’s archaeological site and both Paraiso and Santa Fe beaches.

Taking inspiration from nature

At the resort, guests will be able to unwind by going for a swim in one of several outdoor pools or relax in the spa, which takes inspiration from its natural surroundings. A variety of drinking and dining options, meanwhile, will include full-service speciality restaurants, unique bar concepts and a sky lounge. Among the other noteworthy amenities being planned are a mini-golf course, a fitness centre and a paddle ball court, as well as over 2,000 sq ft of event space.

The resort’s 250 guest rooms promise to offer plenty of space and a luxurious finish throughout. Branded residences will also be on sale, with buyers able to participate in the resort’s residence rental programme.

The development is being undertaken by Hilton in partnership with family-run business Grupo Dintsa, which owns the property; architectural firm GVA Arquitectos; and interior designer Amass & G. Drawing on 25 years of development experience, Grupo Dintsa is known for delivering innovative projects that are avant-garde in design, while Hilton currently has more than 110 hotels in the pipeline throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.
