The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town has completed an extensive $12.8 million renovation to the more than 300-room property in the heart of Old Town.

Guest-focused renovations

The refurbishment features an updated bar, gym and guest rooms. At the forefront of the hotel’s renovations is the bar, which will be the central gathering point of the hotel.

The area features a small library, business-friendly workspaces and design-forward lounge furniture perfect for relaxing, socialising and working.

The hotel’s 314 guest rooms and suites have been revitalised as part of the project, featuring wood and leather furniture, vibrant fixtures and art-deco design.

In-room amenities include a business-friendly workstation with a desk and chair, HDTV and free Wi-Fi to accommodate the needs of today’s business travellers.

Additional on-site amenities include an indoor fitness centre equipped with Matrix equipment and a Peloton bike, a convenience store and an outdoor pool area with fire pits and a hot tub.

The property offers nearly 6,000 sq. ft of event and meeting space, designed to reflect both the modern and historic aspects of Pasadena’s golden era.

Prime location

The property is in the centre of Pasadena and conveniently located near the area’s other popular attractions, such as the Rose Bowl Stadium and Norton Simon Museum.

“This renovation brings a modern, luxurious experience to Old Town Pasadena, enriched with cultural and architectural elements unique to the neighbourhood,” said Craig Ballard, Managing Partner of Dauntless Capital Partners, which owns The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town.

“We are the base camp to what Pasadena has to offer – just a short walk from the convention centre and steps away from Old Town’s vibrant shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.”

Courtyard by Marriott has more than 1,200 locations in 60 countries and territories. Upcoming hotels in the pipeline include Marriott Courtyard Fresno
