Consultancy creates development head role for DACH region

Consultancy, PKF hospitality group, has forged a new position to assist with hotel projects in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
Simon C. Winker has been appointed to this fresh head of project development role, tasked with providing expert support to clients throughout the entire cycle of a hotel project.
Project prep expertise
His responsibilities include, in particular, the preparation of room and function programmes, architect briefings, planning optimisations, investment cost estimates, interior design tenders and ongoing project monitoring.

Architecture experience
Winkler, an architect and urban planner, previously worked for Implenia Schweiz AG, Zurich Insurance Company and most recently for Eiffage Suisse AG.
He has also taught at the University of Liechtenstein in the master’s responsible property development programme and at the SVIT Swiss Real Estate School in construction and project management, as well as lecturing in Munich at the EU Business School Munich in architecture and hotel design management.
New challenge
Winker commented: “I will be able to apply my many years of experience in the development, conception and realisation of challenging real estate projects with a focus on hospitality at PKF with great enthusiasm.

PKF is currently consulting on European projects including Radisson Blu Deka Tower in Poznan, Poland and Hotel Milano in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy.
