In particular 2022 is set to be a busy year with as many as 27 projects currently on track to making their debut before the start of 2023.

Growing the hotel scene

Hospitality brands heightening their presence include NH Collection, Renaissance Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Garden Inn, which all have two new hotels opening in the city.

New landmark sites

Exciting hotel openings here include the late 2022 opening ME Doha and Swissôtel Doha Corniche Park Towers Hotel and Residences.

Currently under construction, the architecturally striking 235-key ME Doha is a part of the DohAlive development also encompassing lifestyle-driven shops, restaurants, a cinema complex and wellness facilities.

Catering to business and leisure travellers, the property will comprise three restaurants, a nightclub, three bars and an open-air cinema, a fitness centre, spa and panoramic infinity pool, along with business and convention facilities.

Swissôtel Doha Corniche Park Towers Hotel and Residences will then accommodate guests in the city’s West Bay area, close to commercial, government, corporate and leisure districts.

Swissôtel’s new Middle East flagship will come with 350 luxurious guest rooms and facilities including four restaurants, a health and fitness centre, swimming pool, spa and kids’ club, as well as 750 sq m of meeting space.

The property will also encompass branded residences with their own residential lounge, gym and private swimming pool.
