Central London’s first Radisson Red hotel opens near the O2
Radisson Red London Greenwich The O2 is inviting guests to experience its fun and bold hospitality experience, complete with riverside views and a convenient location for concertgoers.
As well as being handily placed for the O2, this new property places guests within minutes of iconic sights like the Cutty Sark, National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory.
Radisson expands in London
The 70-room Radisson Red London Greenwich The O2 pairs bold interiors and a prime London address with buzz-driven social areas.
Tom Flanagan Karttunen, area senior vice president for Radisson Hotel Group in Northern and Western Europe, said: “We’re thrilled to expand our bold, playful and eclectic Radisson Red brand in London, and strengthen our position as the leading international hotel group in the region. Radisson Red London Greenwich The O2’s location is ideal for visitors looking to explore either maritime Greenwich or the many other attractions across London, while enjoying Radisson Red’s unique twist on hospitality.”
Vivek Chadha, managing director of Nine Group and owner of Radisson Red London Greenwich The O2, added: “We’re delighted to celebrate the opening of the striking Radisson Red in Greenwich. As we look to the much-anticipated return of live music, concerts, sport and entertainment, the Radisson Red London Greenwich The O2 is perfectly situated to provide visitors with a safe and inspiring environment brought together with seamless technology.”
Catering for guests and locals
The new hotel houses 70 bold and fun guestrooms with plush bedding, rain-effect showers, large desk areas and photo art for decoration.
During their stay, visitors can refuel at a millennial-oriented all-day restaurant, serving pizzas, burgers, salads, sharing platters, nachos and chicken wings. This 50-seat dining space spills out into the lounge area, which incorporates additional seating and large sofas.
The restaurant – as well as the bar and lounge, and the street-level Grab and Go offer – welcomes both guests and locals. In addition, the autumn 2021-opening rooftop bar Nine will offer panoramic views across Greenwich, the O2 and Canary Wharf.
