The jewel of the Basque Country

Catalonia Hotels & Resorts has opened a new hotel in San Sebastián. Catalonia Donosti, a four-star hotel with 128 rooms, is on an old convent from the 17th and 18th centuries, with elements protected by the city’s urban heritage.

Its façade with bell tower, two towers and central body have been maintained and restored. Only the main entrance of the hotel was newly built.

Its decoration, of English inspiration, offers an elegant and stately atmosphere, with noble materials and fabrics such as silks, velvets, brocades, marbles and copper.

The hotel has 128 rooms of different types, a bar, a gastronomic restaurant and two spaces located on the roof of the building: a large panoramic terrace and a pool area with a solarium and chill-out area.

Martínez Otero has supplied and installed the carpentry and fit-out interiors for common areas and rooms such as cabinets, desks, headboards, night tables, bar furniture and bathroom furniture.
