Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group debuts two new hospitality properties in Dubai
As tourism continues to boom in the city of Dubai, major hotel groups work to expand their footprints in the city
As tourism continues to boom in the city of Dubai, with high-end guests from throughout the world flocking to the shining city in the desert, most major hotel groups on the planet are interested in expanding their footprint and presence in the city by establishing increasingly luxurious and glitzy projects there.
The latest major additions are two new hotels in Dubai from the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group: the Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments Dubai Silicon Oasis and the Park Inn Radisson Dubai Motor City. Tim Cordon, area senior vice president, Middle East, Turkey and Africa of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, was quoted in a statement as saying, “2017 has been a momentous year for the group with 20 hotel openings across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. We are further delighted to close the year with two exciting new hotel openings in Dubai, a key global gateway city and one of the world’s top travel destinations.”
Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments Dubai Silicon Oasis
Radisson Blu first launched its new serviced hotel apartments in an area of a city that is a free zone and tech business hub, thus the inclusion of the phrase Dubai Silicon Oasis at the end of the new hotel’s name. This property made its debut on December 19, and it features upper upscale accommodations that include a choice of 229 studios or one or two bedroom apartments that also include full kitchens, free high speed internet access, and a good number of balconies. The hotel’s restaurant will serve an international menu of lunch and dinner, with a set of healthy meal options for its Radisson Blu Super Breakfast menu. The hotel will also include separate male and female outdoor swimming pools, as well as gym facilities, with additional service touches such as a children’s play area and a 24 hour concierge service.
Park Inn Radisson Dubai Motor City
The Park Inn by Radisson, meanwhile, first opened on December 21 in Dubai Motor City, making it the first hotel to open in that area, and it stands ready to accommodate the growing communities of Motor City, Sports City, Studio City and Arabian Ranches. This location is also a good one because Dubai’s International Airports are 30 minutes away by car. This property also offers signature design features such as a vintage red Ferrari suspended from the ceiling in its lobby, and the 146 guest rooms and suites will build on this colorful motor vehicle theme by providing visitors with views of the Dubai Autodrome racetrack as well as the increasingly full Dubai city skyline. These rooms will also have Apple TV, free Wi-Fi and headboards that feature LED mood lights that will change colors.
