Hilton has recently announced the signing for a new-build Canopy by Hilton hotel at Deer Valley East Village—North America’s first luxury alpine village development since 1981. Signed as part of an agreement with New York-based Extell Development Company, this new hotel will mark the Canopy brand’s first hotel in Utah. It will be part of Deer Valley Resort’s expansion project.
Located in Park City, Utah, Canopy by Hilton at Deer Valley is set to open in summer of 2026. It will feature 180 guest rooms that overlook the Jordanelle Reservoir and Deer Valley Resort. It promises effortless ski access during the winter months (which, lucky for snow-lovers, last longer than the warm months) while surrounded by a warm and cozy atmosphere, a lively apres-ski experience, and access to a variety of restaurants.
And trust me, as someone who was a Utah native for most of my life, I can tell you that there is no place like the Wasatch mountains. Whether guests plan to hit the slopes, relax among the mountain views, or are there only for business, it’s the kind of place that will leave an impression. The addition of Canopy by Hilton at Deer Valley is going to make the already stunning Deer Valley experience even more remarkable.
