The 127-key Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain now brings alpine-inspired design and a range of upscale amenities to a location just moments from a wealth of skiing and hiking trails.
Growth in recreation areas
The third Cambria Hotel to open in Colorado, joining properties in Fort Collins and at Denver International Airport, this new four-storey hotel fuels the brand’s growth in sought-after outdoor recreation and leisure markets.
“Cambria has always been committed to growing in highly sought-after markets, and the opening of the Cambria Hotel in Copper Mountain—a thriving ski village in the heart of the Rocky Mountains—represents a natural build on this strategy,” said Mark Shalala, senior vice president of development, upscale brands, Choice Hotels.
“Whether they take part in Copper Mountain’s exceptional skiing or hiking, or soak in the area’s rich history, we know that the Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain will create the unparalleled upscale experience that guests have come to know and love from Cambria Hotels.”
Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain is operated by O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC, which currently owns a total of five hotels under this brand.
Mountain lifestyle
The hotel is located in Summit County, just 70 miles west of Denver, within easy reach of skiing and hiking trails in Leadville, Vail and Lake Dillo.
In this setting, the hotel is distinguished by design elements that are influenced by the active Copper Mountain lifestyle. Nature-inspired hues mimic the hotel’s alpine views.
Defining features of this new hotel range from sophisticated guest rooms with design-forward fixtures and spa-like bathrooms to the onsite Element 29 Bar & Bistro showcasing local flavours and multipurpose indoor and outdoor spaces for work or relaxation.
Additional amenities at the property include a state-of-the-art fitness centre and hot tubs. Meeting and event spaces are available throughout Copper Village and tech-friendly features include mobile check-in and Cambria Contactless Concierge text messaging service are also included.
