The design-led Cambria Hotel Pearl District—Portland and Cambria Hotel Hillsboro are now on track to opening in spring 2025.
A development milestone
Together, representatives of Choice Hotels and Evergreen Hotel Development Group, as well as Portland city officials, marked the two hotels’ official groundbreaking to commemorate the project’s development milestone.

Inspired design concepts
The six-storey, 178-key Cambria Hotel Pearl District—Portland will be located at 165 NW Park Ave in the heart of Portland’s fashionable Pearl District, which is known for its shopping, craft breweries and artisanal coffee shops. This location will place guests a short walk from downtown, Old Town Chinatown and Northwest Portland.
This hotel’s design will represent the connection between nature and industry that’s seen in the surrounding area. The property is being developed in collaboration with HighSide Development, the architect and interior designer Baskervill and the general contractor Deacon.
The four-storey, 115-key Cambria Hotel Hillsboro will then provide an exciting new place to stay at 5523 NE Huffman St, 20 minutes outside of Portland and a short drive from Hillsboro airport and Highway 26. Developed by Evergreen Hotel Development Group, this hotel will showcase a design concept that draws on Oregon’s state bird and flower, along with Hillsboro’s designation as a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.
Both properties will encompass signature Cambria Hotels features like onsite dining options that celebrate local flavours, state-of-the-art fitness centres, indoor and outdoor spaces for work and relaxation, stylish meeting and event space, Cambria Contactless Concierge and a mobile check-in option.
