Caesars Republic Scottsdale enters construction phase

The real estate development and property management company HCW has announced that above-ground construction of this hotel is now underway.

The highly anticipated Caesars Republic Scottsdale is designed in partnership with Caesars Entertainment Corporation and Macerich to push creative boundaries.

A hotel and events venue

The 265-key Caesars Republic Scottsdale, which is to rise up to 11 storeys on the north side of Scottsdale Fashion Square, is currently scheduled for early 2024 debut. The property is owned by HCW and it will be managed by HCW Hospitality Management.

The site will act as both a destination for travellers and venue for events with views of Camelback Mountain and the surrounding desert. The property is already accepting reservations for its indoor and outdoor event space. Room reservations will be open from the second quarter of 2023.

“We’re excited to resume our above-ground construction of Caesars’ first North American non-gaming hotel in the heart of Scottsdale,” said Richard Huffman, chief executive officer and president of HCW.

“The construction delay, a direct result of the pandemic, has actually been our silver lining by allowing us to incorporate even more little luxuries and make room for a new, dedicated mobile sports betting space where guests can place bets on their Caesars Sportsbook app while watching the games in the seventh-floor lounge.”

Exciting new social spaces

On opening, the hotel will comprise 265 rooms and suites including 28 luxury wellness suites with amenities including Peloton bikes and five top-floor penthouse entertainment suites with outdoor terraces and butler kitchens.

This accommodation will be joined by two Italian restaurants, Luna by Giada and Pronto by Giada, by the award-winning celebrity chef, author, philanthropist and TV personality Giada De Laurentis.

Operated by Riot Hospitality Group of Scottsdale, the seventh-floor pool lounge and restaurant, Seven (SVN), will host weekend brunches and afternoon activities, as well as private events, with views of Camelback Mountain.

Indoor-outdoor event space spanning 13,500 sq ft will then encompass a 7,000-sq-ft column-free ballroom with 34ft-long sliding glass doors opening into the 7,000-sq-ft lawn. Additional event facilities include a 3,500-sq-ft eighth-floor outdoor space and 3,700-sq-ft second-floor meeting space.

The hotel experience will be completed by dedicated workspaces, a fitness centre and rooftop pool. The property will stand out from its surroundings with a glass structure and interiors paying homage to Caesars Republic’s Las Vegas roots.
