Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open the 100-key Bvlgari Hotel Miami Beach in 2024.

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open the 100-key Bvlgari Hotel Miami Beach in 2024.

The planned Miami hotel will be the 11th property in Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio. We find out what to expect from this exciting scheme.

An enviable oceanfront setting

When Bvlgari Hotel Miami Beach opens at 100 21st Street in 2024, it’ll become the first ever Bvlgari Hotel in the US. The waterfront development will command impressive ocean views and provide access to Miami’s famous beaches, as well as placing guests within moments of the vibrant Miami Art Deco district.

“We are particularly proud to have secured such an extraordinary location for the new Bvlgari Hotel in Miami,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari. “This will be our first property in the United States, which is a key market for our brand and we are delighted to add the vibrant and glamorous Miami Beach to our collection. We are convinced that the Bvlgari Hotel Miami, to be opened in 2024, will represent an irresistible Roman Jeweller Hospitality, a unique ultra luxury experience in the American upscale hotel market.”

Italian design and Art Deco glamour

In line with the other luxury properties in the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection, this hotel will benefit from the design expertise of Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which is to finalise the restoration and design of the 1950s Modernist building.

The property is situated in the National Register Architectural District. Adding an extra layer of intrigue, this area was known as a winter destination for the Old Hollywood crowd during the 50s and 60s.

On completion, the 100-room hotel promises to channel Bvlgari’s signature glamour. Most of the accommodation here will be made up of suites, and facilities will include an outdoor pool, a spa, fitness facilities and a restaurant and bar by acclaimed chef Niko Romito.
