2021 will be a big year for Element Hotels, with 26 planned launches and 4,658 new rooms set to join its existing offering. Nine of these properties are already in the pre-opening phase.

In 2022, another nine projects with 1,604 keys are due to complete, whereas only two properties with 294 rooms are pencilled in for 2023 at present. For 2024 and beyond, eight more hotels with 1,392 rooms are already in the works.

Key growth regions for Element Hotels

On a region-by-region basis, North America will have the largest number of openings in the coming years. Interestingly, all 29 projects and 4,588 keys are located in the US, with none at all planned for the likes of Canada or Greenland.

Meanwhile, ten Element Hotels will open their doors in the APAC region, expanding the brand’s footprint by 2,164 keys. Of these ten properties, nine relate to China.

Three projects have been mooted for the Middle East, incidentally, of which two are in the UAE. And Africa will get two new Element properties, while only one will open in Europe.

Element Hotels’ most noteworthy projects

Element Yinchuan Hotel will be centrally located in the Binhe New District area of Yinchuan in northern China. This 200-key property will be situated in a mixed-use development project initiated by the NHAR Administration, which will also consist of four parks, an art gallery and an artists’ village. Guests at the hotel can look forward to enjoying signature services such as the Rise breakfast, the Relax evening wine reception and free bike rental. The opening date is set for Q2 2021.

Elsewhere, Element Nashville Vanderbilt West End will be part of the vibrant 19-acre mixed-use development oneC1TY. Surrounded by Vanderbilt University, three major medical centres, the corporate headquarters of several large companies and Nashville’s famous Music Row, this 175-room hotel certainly boasts a great location. The grand opening will take place in February 2021.

Lastly, another opening planned for February 2021 is the 112-key Element Bend, which will be situated close to the centre of this charming city in Oregon. The hotel will feature keyless check-in, bicycles for guests to borrow, and a fully equipped kitchen in every suite, as well as a 24-hour fitness studio and saline pool. F&B options will include the complimentary Rise breakfast, the convenient grab-and-go outlet Pantry, evening cocktail receptions and a weekly barbecue on the patio.
